Description: Offered is the antique book "In Memoriam", written by Lord Tennyson and published in New York by the Mershon Co. The book of poetry (see photo #3 for contents) is undated but given the cover design and the other books it was found with I would guess it is from the 1900-1910 era. The book is approx. 6" x 4 1/4" and contains 281 pages. It is in good to very good condition. The patterned hard cloth cover has almost no wear, although it does have some light soiling and blotchiness. The dark green words and design are still distinct. There is no cracking inside either the front or the back cover. The white endpapers have browned considerably, especially around the edges. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding. They have browned considerably, as well, but all the text is readable. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
