Description: This room of mid-1960s vintage hand crafted Ideal "Petite Princess" Dollhouse Music Room furniture set is decorated for Christmas and includes 2 velveteen covered armchairs, Lyre table with porcelain decanter, the Royal grand piano and bench. Also included is a vintage Marx grandfather clock along with a miniature angel statue (not vintage) to add decor for music room. The Christmas tree and presents are new decor items. This lot of gently used and played-with vintage Ideal dollhouse furniture is hand crafted with detail from the mid-century. What's nice is the small metronome and music sheet are included as shown on the grand piano box. The velveteen upholstery on the 2 armchairs is bright and in good shape, as is the Lyre table with porcelain decanter being in good condition. The piano bench velveteen material is slightly faded but in good condition. The grandfather clock is a Marx piece in good condition. The miniature angel statue is not vintage and included to add flavor to the music room. The technical scale of the Ideal furniture is 3/4". To put it in perspective, the armchairs are about 3" tall and the Marx grandfather clock is 5 1/2" tall. Not included here but the original Ideal "fantasy family" came with the father, mother and 2 children. To give an idea of associated doll sizes the father doll would measure about 5" tall, so almost as tall as the Marx grandfather clock.
