Description: Handcrafted Bamboo Tinder Box. Made from Bamboo with Hardwood end caps. The caps have hand forged staples with decorative twist. The end Caps are hand turned on the lathe and then the staple is added. Unless specified; tinder box will come with rubber orings embedded in the caps to keep water resistant. I can use the waxed linen thread to help waterproof, but the orings hold up over time better as well as creates a better seal. Both Caps are removable. Case come empty. The case is approximately 5 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide and weight approximately 4 to 5 ounces empty. The box can be attached to a wang or put in knapsack. Can be used to hold anything, not just tender and flint and steel. The finish is Boiled Linseed oil and paste wax. Great for that long hunter, 18th Century Reenactment, woods runner, bush crafter, survivalist, Black Powder or muzzle loader enthusiasts. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!!!
