Description: Professor and Mrs. H. U. Ross acquired some property on Twidale Bay together with A.Y. Jackson in August of 1955. The friends often painted together on the east shore of Lake Superior near their property. The works of H.U. Ross are directly inspired by founding members of the Group of Seven, and this painting could have been painted right beside one of these greats. Painting measures 12" wide by 10" high.
