Description: This is a rare G.W. Turner & Sons plate that is shown at the Brooklyn Museum. It is in great condition but has a crack at the top middle (photos included) but isn’t noticeable from the front, but is more noticeable on the side. It is a fairly small crack. This plate also comes with a metal hanger. From what I could gather this plate is worth about $350, but I am selling it for $250. It is probably worth much more as it is a collectors item and one that again, is in a Museum. I do not have the time to have someone look at it, or the funds so I’m sure it is worth more than I know. A little background on the plate. This is made in England. The stamp shows Brazil but that is telling you the design of the plate not where it was made. It was produced sometime between 1873-1890s.
