The hardcover books are in great shape. The spines and pages look great. Pages have minimal yellowing. The covers on the original set show a little wear, here and there. The covers on the yearbooks are in amazing shape (were they ever used?)! Overall, this set is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to any collection. Considering the publishing date, the perspective of the entries will be most interesting to historians. I noticed that the topic of World War I took about 20 pages. A remarkable 58 pages was dedicated to World War II. The publisher, Funk & Wagnalls, is known for their high-quality publications.
