Description: Superior Officer's - Gilded Bronze Hilt Epee - Restoration Period. The pommel is decorated with a helmeted goddess's head and the guard is decorated with palmettes and laurel branches. The handle is wood with fluted mother of pearl grips. Very nice party blued and engraved 31" triangular blade. Black leather sheath with 2 gilded bronze engraved fittings. Overall length of the epee in sheath is 36". There is no movement between the blade and the hilt. The epee is in exceptional condition. Please see photos for further description and condition.
