Description: This is a beautiful classic toile fabric from the Madison Avenue Designs Home Collection. The colors are a dark burgundy red on a cream background. It features very pretty vignettes of the European countryside with castles, fountains, farm goods, and animals. There are people in some of the pictures, either playing a musical instrument, sorting through baskets, or other activities. Each individual scene is approximately between 6 and 8 in wide and 6 and 8 in tall. The fabric is 59 inches long (1.6 yards) by 54 inches wide. The fabric would be good for upholstery or decorative pillows. It is more of a heavy weight broadcloth type cotton. The fabric has a crisp hand and a rather stiff drape.
