Description: Framed Original Oil on Canvas Painting Landscape Portrait of a Young Woman Gathering Wildflowers by Zelma (Nachtsheim) Duppenthaler (1922-2015) The descendants of the artist wrote the name of their grandmother on the back of the canvas. They described her to us as lifelong artist who mainly painted floral still lifes, but this was a challenge to herself at the age of 89, and ultimately won "Best of Show" at an amateur art competition. The frame is much older than the 2011 painting, dating to the 50s or earlier. Dimensions: Frame = 21.5 x 25.5 inchesCanvas = 16 x 20 inches Condition: The painting is bright and colorful with no obvious fading or discoloration. The canvas is taut.
