Description: These thumbnail and micro specimens contain blue Kyanite the glows bright red in UV light. They were self-collected at a site in northern Wisconsin that is on a Native American res and they require special permission to collect samples. I chipped these pieces off a weathered section of a 10 ton plus boulder in June of 2019. This source is also known to have Garnets, Staurolite and Sillimanite which may also be present in these specimens. But I am only able to ID the Kyanite, so the buyer will have to discover any other minerals present. There are more Kyanite crystals in these samples than the one I was able to photograph. I also have some larger specimens that I can list separately.
