Description: Pictured is a vivid Rockingham glazed yellow ware pitcher offered for sale. The scalloped-rimmed pitcher has flint enameling highlights & a great, early shape & form. It has 8 paneled sides and a fancy handle with a thumb rest. It measures 7 1/8" in height and dates from 1860 - 1885. There is a small flake & an associated hairline at the base of the handle, see Pic 3. There is also a very faint 2" hairline from the rim near the handle, felt & hardly seen. New England or Mid Atlantic area produced.
