Most likely of FRENCH ORIGIN circa 1920 and the PERFECT accessory for your Poupee's VANITY or displayed in a Fashion doll's BOUDOIR vignette, this sweet little tray measures a DIMINUTIVE 7 3/4" wide including its handles and 5 1/2" wide across its mirror, and is 5 3/8" deep including its frame and 4 3/8" deep across just the mirror. It is OVAL in shape, and has an exquisite ORMOLU FRAME with a fancy and dainty embossed design, but the focal point of this pretty little piece are its elaborately molded miniature ormolu BOW HANDLES on each tray end, embellishments indicative of antique French mirrors and frames of its time! The back of the tray is covered with its original BLACK VELVET material, and there is a tiny loop where if its user chose could display this tiny tray hanging on the wall! It is in overall EXCELLENT CONDITION with minor age wear; please accept our apologies for the streaks on the mirror as we neglected to clean it prior to taking the flash pictures!
