Description: EXCELLENT CONDITION WWII UC M1 BAYONET W/SCABBARD. In 1943 the U. S. military adopted the model M1 bayonet which was essentially the same as its predecessor, the model M1942 bayonet, except its blade length was shortened from just under 16" for the M1942 to just under 10" for the M1. This is one of those M1 bayonets - this one made by the Union Fork & Hoe Company (UFH). As shown by the photos, it is in excellent plus condition. Its unsharpened blade is properly stamped, "U. F H./U (flaming bomb symbol) S" on its left ricasso. Its only detriment is finish wear on the blade from being inserted into and withdrawn from its scabbard. It comes with an M7 scabbard. My inventory sticker is on the back of the scabbard, but I will remove it before shipping it to you. If you have any questions, please ask before buying or making an offer. Thanks.
