Description: Eisenberg Ice Brooch Pin Clear Rhinestones Vintage Sparkly Costume Jewelry Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Eisenberg Ice brooch. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This item is silver tone metal with clear rhinestones. The shapes of the rhinestones include marquise, pear-shaped, and round. The larger stones are prong set and the smaller ones are not. The brooch measures approximately 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 5/8 inch. Unpacked, it weighs 1.3 ounces. This would be a fabulous addition to a collection of vintage costume jewelry. Identification The brooch is clearly marked, "EISENBERG ICE." It also has stamp marks that are more weakly impressed, including a four digit number which may say, "5042," "5242," "5342," "5642," "5842," or "5942," and, "EISENBERG." The second digit of the numerical mark is difficult to make out. The exact age of this vintage item is not known. Condition This piece looks fantastic overall, with no missing or replaced stones. The stones are sparkly and the metal is nice and shiny. The pin mechanism on the brooch functions properly. Upon examination with a 16X jeweler's loupe, I was able to see some tiny nicks and scratches on the stones, but I could not discern these otherwise.
