The Central Glass Co. & Hobbs introduced a COIN GLASS LAMP with U.S. Coins and the government BANNED PRODUCTION as it was illegal to reproduce U.S. Coins. Probably originally produced to use at the COLUMBIAN EXPO ...well, that didn't help. NOW comes this OIL LAMP that has replaced the U.S. COINS with VARIOUS MEDALLIONS (see photos) assuming issued probably in 1893 with then "Lack of Interest"; so, this version was NOT MADE very long. SELLING as ABSOLUTELY TOP CONDITION and appears NOT used with OIL ...as in the Estate the lady had this one converted CORRECTLY to electric...I WILL INCLUDE all the fittings so you too can use with electricity.
