Description: These beautiful vases were made sometime during 1887 and 1891, when Eliza Simmonce and Emma Roberts worked together at the Doulton Lambeth factory. You can see a variety of flowers with different colors. At first glance, they almost look EXACTLY the same, but on further, in depth perception, you can see the differences which indicate individual flair. The vases themselves were probably made in the factory (see the middle of each vase going all the way around and note that you can see through the holes) and then passed on to the artists for individualized painting. The colors are crystal clear. The workmanship is amazing, particularly when you consider the fact that these pieces are about 130 years old and made by young ladies who were probably NOT paid a lot of money (English Pounds Sterling). Each piece is 7" high and has a diameter of about 6.5" at the middle. I pack professionally, with lots of bubble wrap and crumpled newspaper, and ship immediately upon receipt of payment.
