Description: DETECTIVE COMICS #162 Rare Batman Book! DC Comics 1950 This is a rare Batman book that presents quite nicely. Cover colors are still vibrant and the cover is attached. The centerfold is attached at both staples. This book is complete and I could not detect any signs of restoration. Front cover has creases, edge wear with small tears, small staple tears, pencil top right, and staining towards the bottom. The back cover has tears and small chip top left corner, other small staple and edge tears, corner creases to 2" and small stains. The spine is rolled some and has small staple tears to 1/2". The cover is attached at both staples, but is loosening. Interior pages have some corner bends and the center two wraps have tears. PLEASE take a close look at the photographs and assess the condition yourself before purchasing. Shipping: Raw comic books are either sent in Gemini mailers (or similar) or sandwiched between sturdy thick cardboard pieces. Comic books are firmly attached to cardboard with blue painter's tape to ensure they stay put in transit and to make it easier for the buyer to unpack. Orders of up to 1 pound are shipped via USPS first-class mail. Orders over 1 pound are sent priority mail (note that comic books cannot be sent media mail per USPS regulations). All slabs are double boxed with ample packing material. Returns: Returns available for most raw comic books. I do not generally accept returns for graded books, but there are exceptions - I will accept a return if there is a defect in the slab due to CGC encasing or if the book is damaged during transit.
