Description: CROCKER & SPRINGER POTTERY Decorated Crock. Large size - approximately 7 1/2” tall and 22 1/2” around at the widest point. UNUSUAL wood fired, salt glazed. Beautiful piece. Several markings in the clay that are indicative of hand made pottery, including crackling in the glaze that occurred when it was wood fired. Stamped with Crocker & Springer stamp. It is also stamped on the bottom, showing that it is wood fired and salt glazed. I’ve included a photo next to a soda can for size reference. Please be advised shipping has increased.
