Description: Kari Iso - Pahkala is a very talented studio pottery maker from 1970s Finland. Beautiful handthrown chamotte clay ceramics candle stick holder. Kari Iso - Pahkala has a long career. He was working at Hgans Sweden in 1960s. Later in 1970s he worked at Gustavsberg and at the Atelje of Stig Lindberg. Later in 1970s he moved back to Finland and opened his own studio at the beautiful northern town of Kalajoki. The holder I'm selling is very high quality piece, early work from his own studio. It's in excellent condition without defects. Signed "Kari Iso-Pahkala 1974". It stands 8.5 cm tall with a diameter of 12.5 cm. In great condition without any defects. I post world wide and wrap with care. All my items areinsured for lost or broken
