Beautiful sea cliff painting with buildings and village structures at top of sea cliff. Appears to be European school based on the stretcher bar and overall age, probably from later part of 20th Century 80's to 90s era. Signed lower right, "CAM". Oil on canvas. Nice loose brush work and thick paint loose impressionism, would appeal to mid Century modern art collections.SIZE: aprox. 20x24 unframed MEDIUM: oil on canvas CONDITION: Vintage as found painting. Some craquelure due to age (see photo) - common with vintage painting from this period. Could use a light cleaning - some age spots and general age wear in mostly the light blue sky area. There are some tiny dots at the upper left blue sky -but created this way by the artist and is not damage (see photo close up). Overall canvas appears a little dry and may have been in a tropical environment at one time, side edges have some frame rub and light flaking craquelure at edges -would be covered once framed.
