Description: For sale is an antique sterling silver bowl. This was made by the Famed "Kalo Shop", an arts and crafts maker of various types of jewelry and hollowares. This is the classic #5811 "Lotus" bowl, a trademark piece of the Kalo Shop. It measures approx 9" x 2 7/8" and is around 518 grams. It has the later "Sterling Hand Wrought At the Kalo Shop" used 1912 - 1970. I would ASSUME it is from around 1930 as it was purchased alongside the other piece with the 1930s mark, but it could be earlier or later. It's a lovely bowl with a floral shape and a hammered texture. This is a great example of American arts & crafts silver and would be the centerpiece of any collection!
