Description: c.1870 French gilt-bronze carriage clock with 4 enamel panels depicting lovers in idyllic scenes. The time and strike movement has an alarm and still retains the original cylinder balance platform. It is wound and set off the backplate and strikes on a bell. Panels signed HUM. The case is stamped HA Breveté SGDG which indicates it was supplied by Henri Acier. They supplied clock cases during the late 19th century. Movement is complete. It runs and strikes but not great as it has sat for a few years so service is advised. Case is 5.25 in. high without handle. Any questions just message. Shipped via Fedex or USPS.
