Description: Here are two saucers in search of cups in the Blue Heaven pattern from Harmony House line of Sears. They have a classic mid-century look, perhaps atomic style, with a white body covered in light brown speckles with blue and gray rectangles, lines, and dots. They are in very good condition with no chips, crazing or utensil marks. The little plates are 6 ¼” in diameter. The back stamp reads “Harmony House, Quality-Design-Color, Reg. US Pat. Off., H.H. Ming Blue, Blue Heaven". The Sears & Roebuck Co. introduced the Harmony House brand in 1940 and continued it until 1968. After much searching for the original pottery company, I located a Sears Catalog page from the 1958 Fall/Winter edition that included this pattern. The marketing describes it as semi-porcelain and “Harmony House Imported Genuine China Sets… from Japan where fine china making is a century-old art.” Thanks for looking.
