Description: Here's a big 9 1/2" diameter Weston ammeter in surprisingly good condition for its age, which is about 125 years, last patent date being 1898. Of course, after all these years, it shows wear, paint loss/scrapes and some surface rust on the back, still a LOT better than most of these survivors! There's some light staining oi the 0-15Amp scale. The meter is not working, and one of it's terminals is broken off and the other appears to be cut off. The last pic (inside), shows how far I could move the needle using the meter zero adjust. In any event, it makes a GREAT display piece as is, or do a complete restoration, or something in between! Thanks to ebay/PayPal's current draconian policies regarding returns, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working.
