Description: Large Scale Biedenmeir Stained Doll Chest with Limoges Dishes. Nice display size with your small doll in a cabinet or miniature setting. Measurements are 2 1/2 X 5”wide - 4” tall approximate. Includes signed Limoges dishes and two tiny shiny items. The shiny items are not signed. Limoges dishes may not be original to cabinet. Paint “scratch “ on back of cabinet. Check the pictures). It appears the cabinet had a display top at one time. There are indentations on the cabinet top indicating dish placement. Under each indentation is a built in holder, indicating a longer original dish or utensil. I could not get my camera positioned inside the cabinet just right to take pictures of the underside of the cabinet top. The Limoges dishes do fit the circumference of the holes. Always an interesting mystery to imagine what the complete original design was; maybe a tiny secret hiding place. These larger pieces are getting more and more difficult to find.
