This case has come from a large collection of Benrus watch company parts. The watchmaker either worked for Benrus or obtained a large amount of stuff from the company when it went into liquidation in the 1970s. The case and crystal do have light scratches from the way they have been stored over the years, probably knocking into each other. A light polish should get it looking flawless again.
