The original jacket was designed in 1964 in homage to the hero of speed and style, Steve McQueen. “The King of Cool”.This jacket was created as a celebration of his sporting legacy, with diamond quilting to the shoulders, elbows and hemline. The feel of the heavy 12oz waxed cotton empower you with the same daring attitude; a rich, storied heritage is woven into the fabric that weighs down on your shoulders.This jacket has a boxy silhouette in imitation of the original cut from 1964 • Two-way zip fastening• Buckle fastening at hem• Stand up collar with buckle fastening• 2 external pockets• Zippers on the cuffs• Underarm air vents system (The last picture shows the metal vents.)• Metal logo patch on left shoulder• Italian sizing Condition The jackets condition is good. The last of the pictures shows the areas where there are wear marks. The worst in the bottom of the cuffs. It is made in Italy so the size is off for us in the USA. I am 5'6" 170ish. The jacket is loose fitting, but with Belstaff, I wear an XXL. I would call it a roomy medium in the USA. The sleeves are long because when you reach for the handle bars normal jackets creep up your arms exposing your wrists to the elements. It is warm and breaks the wind excellently (Yes, I said breaks the wind... LOL). The double zipper takes some getting used to, but it zips all the way to the neck. It's a motorcycle jacket, so why wouldn't it. There is a reason the Belstaff jacket is expensive and highly sought-after. Its intuitive design and quality have been a leader in jackets for decades.
