Description: This is a unique (couldn't find another like it) piece from Beaumont Brothers Pottery also know as BBP. This Salt Glazed batter bowl or mixing bowl features a Blue Spongeware finish. The bowl comes with an attached handle and a hand curved Spout. It measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide (from side to side), approximately 8 inches long (including the spout and the handle) and is about 4 inches tall. It holds about 4 cups and weighs just over 1.6 pounds. It is marked simply "BBP" on the bottom and is NOT dated. Bowl is in good vintage pre-owned condition. There are no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs.
