Genesis Refinish GCB-500LV Color Blender is a universal blending clear that can be used as a wet on wet sealer, lock down clear, cut in clear, mid coat clear for use with tri-coat colors. GCB-500LV can be sued between coats of graphics and as a basecoat blender. Color Blender:Reduce GCB-500LV Color Blender 1:1 with an appropriate urethane grade reducer. For blending add 1 part GCB-500LV reduced mixture to 1 part reduced basecoat. Cut-in Clear:Reduce GCB-500LV Color Blender 1:1 with an appropriate urethane grade reducer. Apply the basecoat and allow it to dry according to the paint manufacturer's recommendation. Then apply 2-3 coats of reduced GCB-500 Color Blender. Allow a 10 minute flash time between coats. NOTE: GCB-500LV is not recommended for areas that will be exposed to direct sunlight. Lock Down Clear for Metallic and Pearl Coatings:Reduce GCB-500LV Color Blender 1:1 with an appropriate urethane grade reducer. Apply 1 light coat to lock down the metallic or pearl coating. Allow 10 minutes to dry befor applying the clearcoat according the paint manufacturer's recommendation. Mid-Coat / Inner Coat Clear:Apply the basecoat or color coat and allow it to dry according to the paint manufacturer's recommendation. Reduce GCB-500LV Color Blender 1:1 with an appropriate urethane grade reducer. Apply 1-2 light coats. Allow 15 minutes dry time when applying next coat of color.
