Description: ATS Applied Test Systems 2911 Series Furnace & 2931 Controller For Sale- an ATS Applied Test Systems 2911 Series Furnace with an ATS 2931 Series Dual Output Controller. The controller explains the dual output as heating and cooling, which I wish I had seen when I had the two pieces still wired together and powered up. Because I was hoping the furnace would heat up but nothing like that appeared to be happening so I unplugged it and disconnected them because it’s a pain to move the furnace around (72 pounds by itself) while it is still tethered to the controller and the two should ship separately. Now that I review the pictures, the LFE 230 controller is set on MINUS 111 degrees C, so no wonder it didn’t heat up. Looking inside the furnace it looks an awful lot like there should be a squirrel cage fan in the back upper right corner. Whether that failed, was removed for some other reason, or was never installed I have no idea. So beyond the controller powering up I can’t tell you much about this functionally. Accordingly I am selling it for parts or repair only, and no returns will be accepted. I have no idea if it will heat up with the correct setting dialed into the controller. The wires I disconnected are marked so they should be easy enough to reconnect. As the furnace has no refrigeration of any kind, I can’t see how you could produce any cooling without something external that is NOT included in the sale.
