Ashita no Joe Pocket edition Vol.1-12 Set Manga Comics Tetsuya Chiba Kodansha JP

Description: Ashita no Joe Pocket edition Vol.1-12 Set Manga Comics Tetsuya Chiba Kodansha JP ※Cleaned Ashita no Joe"" is a Japanese manga written by Asao Takamori (Kajiwara Ikki) and drawn by Tetsuya Chiba. It is a sports manga about boxing. As of December 2010, the total number of copies sold has exceeded 25 million. A young boy wanders into the dingy streets of Tokyo's Yamaya district. Tange Danpei, an alcoholic ex-boxer who was one-sidedly beaten up by this boy who calls himself Joe Yabuki, discovers his natural boxing sense in a brawl between Joe and members of the Onihimekai, a local gang, and begins to seduce him to become a first-class boxer. However, Joe took advantage of Danpei's passion for him and, after receiving an allowance for his services, he took kids in the backstreets on a spree and became involved in criminal activities. Joe received a postcard from Danpei, which began with the words ""For Tomorrow. The contents of the postcard were a lecture on boxing techniques, starting with how to land a left jab. Joe, who had little time and energy left, followed the advice and began to practice boxing, and soon realized that the sharpness of his punches had improved beyond comparison. After being transferred from the reformatory to the Toko Special [Note 1] Juvenile Training School on Nogiku Island with Nishi Kan'ichi, Joe attempted to escape from the school by rousting the pigs at Nishi's suggestion when they were cleaning the pigsty. However, his rival Toru Rikiishi interfered with his attempt and beat him to a pulp. Later, he learned how to defend himself in a boxing match against Aoyama, whom he had been poking fun at, but Rikiishi left the juvenile reformatory before him without a rematch of their fateful confrontation. Joe, who left juvenile reformatory late, managed to get a professional boxer's license, and with a forceful hand, he was able to get a fight with Wolf Kanagushi, who also moved from featherweight to bantamweight to fight Rikiishi. The change in Rikiishi due to weight loss was not something to be seen, and after a fierce battle, Joe lost the fight. However, Rikiishi, who had won the fight, collapsed and died after the fight due to the strain of the weight loss. Joe was shocked by Rikiishi's death and could no longer fight satisfactorily because he could not strike his opponent in the face. After suffering from the agony of boxing, he overcame the aftereffect of not being able to hit his face when sparring with his strong rival Carlos and made his comeback to boxing. He finally challenged Jose Mendoza, the strongest boxer in the world, for the title of world champion. However, Joe, who had been affected by a punch-drunker, was unable to put up a good fight and lost to Jose by decision. After the match, Joe handed the gloves to Yoko. Joe burned up as white as ashes. However, there was a satisfied smile on his face. ※Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description Descriptionquantity: 1setShippingSend by FEDEX or e-packet or Japan Post EMS or YAMATO OFFICE With tracking number.International Buyers - Please Note:Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
