It is in new mylar.Arch Merrill (1894-1974) was a newspaper man who at one time or another covered every aspect of the newsroom. He found his niche when he began writing articles for Rochester's paper, the Sunday Democrat and Chronicle, on the history of central and mostly western New York. These weren't dry history recitations. He delved into the little known pasts of towns and people of the area. Some of these more than 1600 articles have been collected into his series of books.
