Description: This beautiful pendant features intricate carvings of five figures on a translucent white jade stone. The primary material of the pendant is jade, and the color is white. Parents were stationed in Japan and traveled thru Asia in the 1940's This was purchased at an antique store called the Jiangsu Cultural Relics Store, which is how antique stores were named. It was 300 yuan which at the time was about $41 and mom was told it was antique. Not sure if the holder came later or purchased same time to display. Not sure of what the 1128 on the label stands for. The label is affixed with a wax seal but I am unable to read the writing on it. It has 5 boys, warriors(?) and they are carved on both sides the same. The jade is beautiful white jade and translucent. The stand is quite beautiful and intricately made. It weighs about 20 grams and is about 2" in diameter
