Description: Two temporary strands of large sized Arca shell "Hippo Teeth" beads - Vintage African trade beads I collected in the Ivory Coast between 1994-96. They are from the late 1800s - early 1900s. Great for incorporate into pendents to wear, use on ceiling fans, etc. These two strands each have 12 shells and are about 30 inches long. The largest shells are approx. 2.5 inches long x 1.75 inches wide. They are labeled on the photos as 12/1 and 12/2, and you may select the exact one you want.
