Description: Antique Vintage Texcoco Mexican Serape Rug Blanket Textile 1920’s Very very old 1920’s Mexican Woven Serape, Textile, Blanket….purchased from the immaculate home of a collector of fabulous Mexican art and furnishings, textiles, etc. The gentleman was a professor of Anthropology and a discerning collector. The craftsmanship on this piece is fabulous! The issues are the yellowed discolorations in a few areas, so PLEASE look at all of my photos. I purchased 3 and all had the same sort of discoloration. I used the Laundress Stain remover in cold water and was able to remove most of the stain where it is now not noticeable on the textile that I kept. I leave this cleaning to you. Otherwise they are clean and had dry cleaning tags on the serape when purchased at the estate sale. This rug was kept in a linen bag in a cedar cabinet. There is no odor to the stain. But I cannot tell you what it is from. This textile is unique and its wear is commensurate with age. Measures: 70 x 50 “ I am happy to send more photos if desired.
