IT IS VERY HEAVY WITH A BUILT IN BUTT RECEPTACLE. THE ASHES AND BUTTS GO INTO THE CENTER AND DROP TO THE BOTTOM. THE STAND IS TWISTED OFF VERY EASLY FROM THE BASE AND THEN CAN BE EMPTIED.
