Description: Up for sale is a neat antique cast iron stamp machine. It was made by the Northwestern Stamp Works Saint Paul Mn. It has a decal on the front. Its a stamp is for C.L. Pratt Notary Public in Washington County Arkansas. Neat stamp. Might be for a GL instead of CL. I see a Cassisu Lot Pratt lived from 1846-1929 in Fayetteville, Washington County Arkansas. It might be him. I think this piece dates to around 1895. Not sure. Never had one before. Could pice of Washington County Ark history either way. About 11 inches tall to the top of the handle. Heavy as its cast iron. Weighs just over 5 pounds. Condition: Nice condition for its age. The paint is worn off in some areas. It has some staining. Some rusting. Needs a cleaning. Bottom has an old soldering or lead repair. This was made so it could still be used. No other repairs. No breaks. Still works as a stamp. See photos and video to determine condition.
