Description: This is a great old collection of childrens' Valentines from the 1915 - 1920 period of the 20th Century. Over the years they were mounted in a Spiral Scrapbook 'Pals' themed with both front and back covers as shown in the photos. Most of the Valentines are flat and some are those that open to the message. They are all signed. There is one honeycomb style and a few with pop-ups. All are very colorful and filled with messages typical of that time period. There are a total of 44 Valentines and our photos show a representative selection to demonstrate how most of them are ordered and mounted on the pages. In several places on the back cover is written in pencil "Edward Loney", the fellow who collected them as a child. The book is 13" long and a little over 9" wide and contains 20 pages, 17 of which have a valentine attached.
