Description: This piece is an antique porcelain bowl from South East Asia, ca. 14th-15th century. South East Asia was vital for trade and cultural exchange during the 14th century. It connected regions to others parts of the world through maritime trade routes. It is cylindrical with a lid, made of porcelain. Both pieces would have been made on the wheel, since finger markers are present on the interior. The outside of the bowl has a celadon glaze over the porcelain, which created a cracked finish overtime. The inside of the bowl and lid are unglazed. Several hairline cracks on lid, overall good condition considering age.
