Description: ANTIQUE PAINES CELERY COMPOUND BOTTLE 1880s. What a beautiful orange-amber bottle this one is. Standing right at 9 5/8 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide at the base which is a rounded indent with a 9 or a 6 embossed. All 4 panels are indented with square corners. According to info found for this is that it was made in Burlington Vermont by Wells & Richardson in the 1880s/90s. This was dug in Contra Costa Co. Ca. In the 1970s. Nice twisting in the neck and nicely applied ring and lip. Light haze inside and very tiny burst bubble bottom of base and rather insignificant. No cracks or chips and very nice. Thanks for looking David
