Description: Beautiful, peaceful scene on this vase. Raised gold paint flourishes decorate the outer opening. No chips. There are 3 faint lines about evenly spaced that surround the vase. These are not cracks. They are visible, but part of the paint. Perhaps they helped the artist when painting? The 'M in wreath' mark and word Nippon indicate this vase was made between 1911 and 1921. After 1921, the backstamp would have read Japan instead of Nippon.
