Antique French Empire Old Paris Porcelain Dragon Handle Gold Coffee Cup Saucer

Description: This listing is for an Old Vintage Early 19th Century French Empire Style Old Paris Porcelain Coffee Cup and Saucer. The cup is footed and has a fancy scroll handle with what looks to be a dragon or mythological bird inside (photos 6-8). There are 2 raised bands of designs in a yellow bisque color. Gold gilt decoration. Saucer has rings of gilding. I don't see any marking on either piece and not sure of the maker. The cup hold about 5 ounces filled to very top, so about 3 to 4 oz comfortably. They are in great condition overall with no cracks or repairs. The cup is excellent. Just a couple very tiny nicks to bottom edge of foot. Top rim and handle are perfect. The saucer has one chip to outer rim (photos 23 and 24: 2 views of same chip, much less noticeable from top). Gold gilding is great with usual wear in center of saucer from use. Gold on cup is excellent. Both pieces are very clean and shiny. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item). They are very thin and fragile and will be securely packaged and double boxed The Saucer measures 5 7/8" (15 cm) across, 1 3/16" (3 cm) tall, and 3 1/16" (7.8 cm) at the base. The Cup is 4 1/4" (10.8 cm) tall to top of handle, 3 7/16" (8.7 cm) tall to rim, ,2 7/8" (7.3 cm) across top rim, and 1 15/16" (5 cm) at the base or foot.
