Description: Antique Porcelain Flat Cup & Saucer, Majestic pattern.Made in England by John Maddock & Sons, with multiple impressed and printed marks on verso, ca. late 1890s. Hand colored in with predominantly orange and blue floral pattern in the Imari style, with brilliant green and gold accents and trim. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks, with very minor crazing if at all. The cup is marked with 678A on verso, while the saucer has a John Maddock & Sons Royal Vitreous England backstamp plus other printed and impressed marks. Approximate measurements:The saucer is near 5 inches wide, the cup is 2 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches wide with the handle. The set weighs 5.8 oz.
