Description: Gorgeous Original Antique Lamp Lovely RESTORED antique condition! Working well, freshly rewired with vintage style cloth cord, and working great. The brass has been polished and the paint has been refreshed. This is a heavy 8.75 pound well-made piece by HA Best in Chicago IL USA. A beautiful piece of art and lighting history. The brass socket cluster is marked Benjamin and the sockets have been cleaned, rewired and tested and are working great. The socket cluster has patent dates of 1903 and 1915. The pull chain end ball has a patent date of 1911. No chips or cracks in the cast metal base. The brass pole has no dents or cracks. The socket cluster cap has some hairline splits in the brass which is typical for antique brass and doesn't affect the use, and some of the patina is still visible on the socket cluster. This will all be covered by your lamp shade (see closeups). The lamp uses 2 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each (or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like). Bulbs not included.
