Description: Antique 1905 Bronze Russell Erwin Olympus Door Knob Back Plates Mortise Lock Set Offered for your consideration is this Antique 1905 Solid Bronze Russell Erwin Olympus Door Knob Back Plates Mortise Lock Set. This poor set was covered in multiple layers of paint to where you couldn't even make out the design anymore. Had to help bring the life back. This functioning mortise carries the Russwin hallmark on the deadbolt & has a 3" back set. Lock box (not including the face plate) measures 3-7/8" deep x 5-5/8" high. Face plate 7-3/4" long x 1-1/8" wide. The one solid bronze door knob has a 2-1/4" diameter and weighs in at 4.8 oz. The main and larger bronze back plate that carries the opening for the cylinder lock face measure 10-1/4" long x 2-1/2" wide, carries "900 | OLYMPUS" on the backside and weighs in at 10.2 oz. The smaller bronze back plate measures 9-1/4" long x 2-1/4" wide, carries "OLYMPUS | T901 | RUSSWIN" on the backside and weighs in at 9.2 oz. Full set weighs in at 4 lbs 3.4 oz. This is a cylinder lock set and we have no key for the cylinder. The cylinder is not frozen and the deadbolt mechanisms inside the lock box are not frozen either. This means the deadbolt will work if you get this cylinder keyed by a locksmith or simply screw out this cylinder and buy a different one online that has a key.
