PURPLE SILK TRIMS THE INNER BRIM WITH THE FRONT FOLDED OVER WITH A WIRED BONING BENEATH. SILK GROSGRAIN BINDING RUNS ALONG THE EDGE AND THE INTERIOR IS LINED IN A FLORAL PRINT CALICO COTTON. BROWN SILK SATIN TIES ARE ORIGINAL. CONDITION: ONE OF THE TIES HAS COME FREE AND NEEDS TO BE TACKED BACK INTO PLACE. THE SILK OF THE INNER BRIM IS SPOTTED WITH YELLOW AGE SPOTS WITH SMALL FRAYS BEGINNING ALONG THE TOP EDGE WITH SEVERAL ON THE SIDES AND THE SILK OF THE OUTER BRIM HAS FADED EVENLY THROUGHOUT AND WHEN THE BRIM IS LIFTED, THE BROWN IS A DARKER COLOR. THERE ARE NO LINES OF FADING. THERE IS A FADE THAT RUNS ON THE TOP LEFT SIDE THAT IS A LITTLE MORE PRONOUNCED FROM BRIM TO BACK.
