Description: AMERICAN GIRL PC Felicity’s Plantation Play Set-Released 1992/Retired 2001 This RARE AMERICAN GIRL PLEASANT COMPANY Doll Felicity’s Plantation Play Set is in Very Good Pre-owned Condition. The Set includes a terra cotta bird bottle (sticker says Made in Taiwan), an attached stick perch, glazed except for at bottom; a small white bird with golden-brown wings on either side, it has a plastic tube in place of feet, allowing bird to slide on the stick perch of the bird bottle; a white scallop sea shell; a thin tan hollow reed; an instructional card for making/using bubble solution and blowing bubbles with reed and shell, NO REED; a light wooden "battledore" racket, corded with string woven through and dark green cord tape wrapped around the handle. **At initial release two battledores were included, this set is the early version with the two battledores; in 1998 this was reduced to one battledore. Also comes with shuttlecock, a tan cork ball with attached white feathers, a couple of feathers look a little ruffled; a functional wooden whistle with attached leather cord; a cloth note with ragged unfinished edges, text reads: “Felicity, Come! Help! ...” Comes with FELICITY’S SUMMER STORY Brochure. **Also includes, from Felicity’s Rescue Kit, the brown leather pocketbook with two pockets for holding papers and two flaps that cover the pockets, the flaps have cut zigzag edges and red embroidery; the newspaper clipping from a classified ad for Benjamin Davidson. It is printed on thicker ivory paper and has jagged edges. It measures approximately 2.5" x 1 3/8"; a drawn map showing the path leading from King's Creek Plantation to Yorktown. It is printed on beige parchment paper and folded in half. Measures 2" x 3". These were Released in 1992 and Retired 2003, also HTF. Sticker stamped with PLEASANT COMPANY. HTF Early 90’s White Original Box with white embossed silhouettes and a Burgundy Band and silhouettes. Box has age related and storage wear, refer to all pictures.
