Description: Amazing beautiful antique and rare bronze medal with high reliefs of the 25th Anniversary of Angola Bank, 1926-1951.The National Bank of Angola (BNA) is the central bank of Angola, being solely responsible for the country's monetary policy. Its headquarters building is located on Avenida 4 de Fevereiro, in the national capital, Luanda.The BNA emerged in the nineteenth century, but was only consolidated in 1926 when it became the Bank of Angola, being the only banking authority in the territory under Portuguese control until 1975. In 1976 the Bank of Angola was transformed into the National Bank of Angola. The medal was made by the notablen Portuguese sculptor João da Silva in 1951 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Bank of Angola, 1926-1951. Has 9 cm diameter, and 5 mm thickness.
