Description: Banner Records three-record album set # B-102 is "A Nation Is Born - A Historic Vote for a Jewish State" narrated by Miriam Kressyn and hyped as "the thrilling dramatic struggle to establish the Jewish State in Palestine." It contains the three 10-inch 78 RPM records featuring the voices of Chaim Weitzman, David Ben-Gurion, Moshe Shertok, Dr. Emanuel Neumann and others.The records could probably all use a good cleaning, but they otherwise look to be in about VG+ or better condition, still beautifully shiny and very little visible surface wear of any significance, although there are a few manufacturing blisters and dimples. I've played them all on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there are no skips or jumps, and mostly only light background noise, but some occasional clicks, pops or ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering devices and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. The album itself is in solid and functional condition, with the pocket seams intact but some light surface and edge wear on the cover, and a small sticker on the front.
