This specimen consists of a dense mass of odd, deeply red willemite crystals with a host of very dark blue apart and scattered granular franklinite. There are some areas with yellowish translucent willemite present as well! The apatite shows some sharp crystal faces and small areas of clarity with an intense blue color. I have taken a few pictures backlit to show the blue more intensely. The willemite fluoresces a bright yellow-green under SW UV! This is rare old material! The pics hardly do it justice! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated! We strive to take the best pictures possible that truly represent the specimen. You will always receive the specimen in the picture unless otherwise stated. We do not alter the colors of the mineral/gemstone in photoshop.
